November 12, 2007

Members Present:  Ramona Bear Hill, Evelyn Blacksmith, Lynn Halbert-DuBois, Darell Decoteau (4:15 pm)

Others Present:  Sherry Johnson, Virginia Dolney, Darla McKernan (left @ 5:30 pm), Becky Bergquist (entered meeting @ 5:10 pm),  Deb Rumpza (entered meeting @ 6 pm)

Quorum was established and the meeting was called to order by Chairperson Ramona Bear Hill at 4:10 pm.

Recently interviewed but want to be considered for the positions Pam Dolney and Vonnie Seaboy- Child Care Worker, Kathy Redday and Bernadette Kohl- Para Educator, Olivia Eastman- TANF Adult Education.

Motion #1 by Evelyn Blacksmith to offer the TANF Adult Ed position to Olivia Eastman pending a successful background check.  Lois Owens is ranked second.  Seconded.  Motion Carried.

Motion #2 by Lynn Halbert-DuBois to enter into executive session.  Seconded.  Motion Carried.

Motion #3 by Lynn Halbert-DuBois to come out of executive session.  Seconded.  Motion Carried.

Motion #4 by Lynn Halbert-DuBois to offer the 4^th grade teaching position to Sara Lorensberg.  Seconded.  Motion Carried.

Motion #5 by Darell Decoteau to rescind employment offers with ESDS for probationary employees David Robertson and Misty Begay.  Seconded.  Motion Carried.

Motion #6 by Lynn Halbert-DuBois to offer the para-educator positions to Cheryl McKay and Bernadette Kohl pending successful background checks.  Lois Owens is ranked second and Fred Weiger is ranked third.  Seconded.  Motion Carried.

Motion #7 by Darell Decoteau to offer the day care worker position to Michelle Cloud pending a successful background check pending a cooperative agreement with Voc-Rehab.  Vera DuMarce is ranked second, Tasha LaBelle ranked third and Vonnie Seaboy ranked fourth.  Seconded.  Motion Carried.

Motion #8 by Darell Decoteau to advertise for the vacant night facilities position.  Seconded.  Motion Carried.

Motion #9 by Darell Decoteau to accept Christina Smith as a substitute pending a successful background check.  Seconded.  Motion Carried.

Chairperson Ramona Bear Hill declared the meeting adjourned at 6:56 pm.
