I.                    Call to Order/Establish Quorum

Quorum was established and Chairperson Ramona Bear Hill called the meeting to order at 4:10pm.

 

Interviews were conducted with:

           SpEd Para-Educator

                       Misty Snoddy – did not come for interview

Motion #1 by Evelyn Blacksmith to amend the agenda as indicated (**).  Seconded.  Motion Carried.

 

Motion #2 by Darell Decoteau to offer the Daycare Coordinator/Provider co-positions to Karen Zubke and Antoinette Owen (with conditions) following successful background checks.  Vonnie Seaboy will be the alternate for the next available daycare position.  Seconded.  Motion Carried.

 

Motion #3 by Lynn Halbert-DuBois to offer the SpEd Para-Educator position to Misty Begay following successful background check.  Seconded.  Motion Carried.

Motion #7 by Darell Decoteau to approve the trainings:  August 25 2007 Conscious Discipline; State Leadership Conference September 16-18, 2007 Darla McKernan and Mary Ann Aker; FACE National Conference March 11-13, 2007 – FACE Team; FACE Admin Training Sept. 16-18, 2007 – Virginia Dolney and Teresa Shoemaker; NIEA October 23-28, 2007 – Lynn Halbert-DuBois, Evelyn Blacksmith, Janell Bear Hill.  Seconded.  Motion Carried.

 

3.      Monthly Voucher and Budget Approval 

Moiton #8 by Lynn Halbert-DuBois to approve the monthly vouchers and the financial reports as presented.  Seconded.  Motion Carried.

 

4.      **New Sub Rates

Motion #9 by Evelyn Blacksmith to set sub rates at $80 per day and $15 per hour for sub bus drivers.  Seconded.  Motion Carried.

 

5.      **Audit

Motion #10 by Lynn Halbert-DuBois to set a 3 year cycle for auditors.  Seconded.  Motion Carried.

 

6.      **Meal prices

Motion #11 by Evelyn Blacksmith to set adult/staff meal prices at $1.25 for breakfast and $2.50 for lunch with or without salad bar or salad bar only, 50 cents for milk.  Seconded.  Motion Carried.

Motion #13 by Evelyn Blacksmith to set the SpEd Board Training to September 26, 2007 at 4:30 pm.  Seconded.  Motion Carried.

Chairperson Ramona Bear Hill declared the meeting adjourned at 7:39 pm.
