The ESDS Board Meeting was called to order at 4:10 pm by Chairperson Bear Hill.

Members Present Ramona Bear Hill, Darell DeCoteau, Lynn DuBois, Evelyn BlackSmith, Della Eastman,

Others Present: Virginia Dolney, Sherry Johnson

Interviews for the positions of School Counselor, Bus Driver, and Student Services were conducted. Interviewees were: Mary Beth Kirk, Margaret Keeble, Nadine Anderson, Dennis Youngman, Melanie MacConnell, Kathy Redday, Mary Anderson

Motion #1 by Lynn DuBois to go into executive session. Seconded. Motion Voted and Carried.

Motion #2 by Lynn DuBois to come out of executive session. Seconded. Motion Voted and Carried.

Motion #3 by Della Eastman to approve the GEAR UP trip to Rapid City, SD for the fourth of July, 2007. Seconded. Motion Voted and Carried.

Motion #4 by Lynn DuBois to advertise the position of Facilities: 2007-2008 School Year. Seconded. Motion Voted and Carried.

Motion #5 by Darell DeCoteau to offer the following positions to stated individuals pending successful back ground check: Student Services for the 2007-2008 SY to Dennis Youngman, Margaret Keeble as a second choice for Student Services, School Counselor for the 2007-2008 SY to Mary Beth Kirk, Bus Driver for the 2007-2008 SY to Melanie MacConnell. Seconded. Motion Voted and Carried.

Motion #6 by Darell DeCoteau to arrange a meeting with Enemy Swim Day School Board of Education, SWO Tribal Council, and the SWO Tribal Historical Preservation Office. Seconded . Motion Voted and Carried.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:00 pm by Chairperson Bear Hill.
