Special School Board Meeting Minutes

June 15, 2006  4:00 pm

 

Members Present:  Ramona Bear Hill, Lynn Halbert-DuBois, Timothy Peters, Darell Decoteau

 

Others Present:  Sherry Johnson, Deb Rumpza, Virginia Dolney

 

 

I.                     Call to Order/Establish Quorum

Quorum was established and the meeting was called to order at 4:00pm by Chairperson Ramona Bear Hill.

 

II.                   Interviews

1.        Amalika Jackson – interviewed at regular board meeting on June 14, 2006

2.        Ashley Hanson

3.        Jane Ryan

4.        Angela Hoyt

5.        Corwin BlueDog

6.        Ron Fayant

7.        Cameron Frank

Motion #1 by Lynn Halbert-DuBois to offer the teaching position to Amalika Jackson pending a successful background check.  Seconded.  Motion Carried.

 

Motion #2 by Darell Decoteau to offer the school year facility assistant positions to Ron Fayant and Cameron Frank pending successful background checks.  Seconded.  Motion Carried.

 

III.                 School Board Elections

Motion #3 by Lynn Halbert-DuBois to certify the only 2 qualified candidates for School Board. One candidate Ramona Bear Hill will serve in the at-large position and the other candidate Evelyn Blacksmith will serve in the parent position.  They will be seated on the board in October at the reorganizational meeting.  Seconded.  Motion Carried.

 

IV.                Adjournment

Chairperson Ramona Bear Hill declared the meeting adjourned at 6:53pm.
