Special School Board Meeting Minutes

February 25, 2008

Members Present: Ramona Bear Hill, Evelyn Blacksmith, Janell Bear Hill, Lynn Halbert-DuBois, Darell Decoteau (5:00)

Others Present: Sherry Johnson, Virginia Dolney, Deb Rumpza

Quorum was established and the meeting was called to order by Chairperson Ramona Bear Hill at 4:10 pm.

I. Amos Roberts – Postponed to March 6, 2008 Regular School Board Meeting

II. Trinie Seaboy

Motion #1 by Lynn Halbert-DuBois to accept the resignation from Trinie Seaboy. Seconded. Motion Carried.

Motion #2 by Evelyn Blacksmith to advertise for the night facilities position. Seconded. Motion Carried.

III. New Bus Bids

Motion #3 by Lynn Halbert-DuBois to purchase a bus from Harlow’s Bus Sales with 1 CRS seat, 3 seats with the BESI harness, and digital camera system. This is a new bus and service is more accessible. Seconded. Motion Carried.

IV. Buffalo Skull

Motion #4 by Janell Bear Hill to purchase the painted buffalo skull from Nathan Thompson. Seconded. Motion Carried.

V. Portfolio’s – Teachers – Review

VI. Kimberlee Dempsey

Motion #5 by Lynn Halbert-DuBois to approve Kimberlee Dempsey as a sub bus driver. Seconded. Motion Carried.

VII. Adjourn

Chairperson Ramona Bear Hill declared the meeting adjourned at 7:50 pm.
