School Board Meeting Minutes

February 14th, 2007

Members Present: Lynn Halbert-DuBois, Evelyn Blacksmith, Ramona Bear Hill, Della Eastman (4:30), Darell Decoteau (4:35).

I. Call to Order/Establish Quorum

Meeting was called to order at 4:15 pm by Chairperson Bear Hill.

1. Sub Applications – Morning Song Manning, **Kerri Guy but her application is incomplete

Motion #1 by Darell DeCoteau to go into executive session. Seconded. Motion Carried.

Motion #2 by Lynn Halbert-DuBois to come out of executive session. Seconded. Motion Carried.

Motion #3 by Darell Decoteau to approve the sub application of Morning Star Manning pending a successful background check. Seconded. Motion Carried.

2. Contracts- SJ, VLD, DR, LJ, EJ

Motion #4 by Della Eastman to offer contracts to S.Johnson, V. Dolney, D. Rumpza, L. Jorgenson, E. Johnson. Seconded. Motion Carried.

3. Summer Program Director

Motion #5 by Evelyn Blacksmith to offer the summer program director contract to John Roach. Seconded. Motion Carried.

Motion #6 by Darell DeCoteau to approve the regular board minutes from Janaury 10, 2007 and the special board minutes from February 6 and 13, 2007. Seconded. Motion Carried.

Motion #10 by Darell Decoteau to approve the policy addition DJEE and the policy revision EBA. Seconded. Motion Carried,

Motion #11 by Evelyn Blacksmith to approve $400.00 for the professional development request for Sara Lorensberg. Seconded. Motion Carried.

C. Living Legends request

Motion #12 by Lynn Halbert-DuBois to approve a donation of $500.00 for the Living Legends Assembly program. Seconded. Motion Carried.

D. Special Construction Meeting

Motion #13 by Darell Decoteau to set a special construction meeting for February 27, 2007 starting at 5:00 pm. Seconded. Motion Carried.

Motion #14 by Lynn Halbert-DuBois to give a monetary incentive to Terra Williams – Parent Essay Winner and Teresa Shoemaker. Seconded. Motion Carried.
