FACE Parent Educator
POSITION
SUMMARY:
Parent Educator for FACE Home-Based conducts personal visits with families of
prenatal to 5-year old children on a weekly or bi-weekly basis to provide
research-based information on how children grow and develop and how parents can
foster learning and nurture development.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Associate’s Degree or equivalent required (Early
Childhood preferred).
Experience: Early Childhood (ages 0-5) experience and working with
adults/families is preferred.
Knowledge: Child development, adult learners, community resources.

Must be able to carry visit materials into homes. This includes books, manipulatives, and sometimes a portable TV/

Immediately supervised by FACE Coordinator, with overall supervision by
Principal.
